Lauren Schantz

Lauren Schantz is an associate who practices in the firm’s civil litigation and business groups.

Lauren currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Mecklenburg County Bar’s Business Law section, Secretary of the Charlotte Chapter of the William & Mary Alumni Association, and Member-at-Large for the Carolina Law Alumni Charlotte Regional Club.

Prior to joining RCD, Lauren served as the Senior Law Clerk to the Honorable Louis A. Bledsoe, III, Chief Business Court Judge, and the Honorable Adam M. Conrad, Special Superior Court Judge for Complex Business Cases, in the North Carolina Business Court.  She also served as the Assistant Secretary and Corporate Governance Advisor for Carilion Clinic, a regional health care system in Virginia, and worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Mecklenburg, Henderson, and Transylvania Counties.
